The exterior walls of our homes are constructed using the Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) building system.

This advanced wall assembly consists of layers of expanded polystyrene insulation surrounding a steel-reinforced concrete core. The result is a highly insulated structural wall system designed to provide exceptional durability, energy efficiency, and long-term performance.

Beyond strength and efficiency, the benefits are experienced every day by the homeowner. ICF homes are noticeably quieter, more comfortable, and more resistant to outside temperature swings than conventional wood-frame homes.

The thermal mass created by the concrete walls helps stabilize interior temperatures while reducing energy loss throughout the year. The wall system also provides increased resistance to severe weather, moisture intrusion, insects, mold growth, and airborne sound transmission.

The result is a home that feels more solid, calmer, and better protected while also supporting healthier indoor living and lower long-term energy consumption.

At Hoffmann Homes, we use ICF construction not as an upgrade, but as a foundational part of how we believe homes should be built.

Our homes have the highest levels of efficiency on the marketplace. In addition to our advance insulation, we install energy efficient heating, air, and water systems that consume far fewer resources than conventional builds. This typically includes multi-zone high efficiency air conditioning, tankless hot water heater, a natural gas fireplace, and a solar ready roof. Through scientific performance testing and multiple certification on every new home, we create comfortable, safe, clean and healthy environments for our clients to enjoy.

We design homes that embrace the natural elements of each site with the goal of balancing aesthetic and function.All construction finish materials are selected to meet our high standards for green building. These include non-VOC paints and adhesives, durable hardwood flooring, all quartz countertops, and much more.

Our construction process includes the most up-to-date automation systems. This includes smart home wiring for multiple audio/visual locations, a complete security system with pre-wiring for outdoor camera locations, and a Level 2 electric car charger in the garage.

We never cut corners that impact health or safety. Every home includes a two-stage whole house water filter for the purest quality water. With an eye to North Texas weather, we also include a pantry, closet, or small room that doubles as a secure saferoom for severe weather events.
